You have the right at any time to access the data we hold about you, as well as to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, a right to object to the processing and the right to data portability in accordance with the GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). When our pages are accessed, the server automatically records information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and the browser and operating system used.

This data is used to ensure the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The host processes the data as a processor on the basis of a data processing agreement.

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, telephone number, optionally postcode/town, and your message) solely in order to handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The message is sent via our email provider. We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, provided no statutory retention periods apply.

You may optionally attach files to your enquiry (photos, floor plans or sketches). These files are processed on our server in memory only, forwarded straight to the mailboxes named above and then discarded. They are not stored permanently on the website. For images we remove the embedded metadata (including location and device details), so they reach us without that information.

An interactive location map is embedded on our contact page. It is only loaded when you actively click the button provided (two-click solution). Until then we show only a static preview image served from our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties.

When the map loads, map tiles are retrieved from OpenStreetMap and CARTO. Your IP address is transmitted to these services, which is technically necessary in order to display the map (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, legitimate interest in showing you clearly how to reach us).

Only when you additionally open the route planner does an external map service open in a new tab; its privacy policy then applies.

Fonts and icons are served locally from our server. There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts).

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the ‘https://’ in the address bar of your browser.
