Privacy policy
This statement informs you about the processing of personal data when you visit this website. We deliberately follow a data-minimising approach.

Your rights
You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you, as well as to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, a right to object to the processing and the right to data portability in accordance with the GDPR.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external service provider (host). When the pages are accessed, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the address accessed as well as the browser and operating system used.
This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The host processes the data as a processor on the basis of a data processing agreement.
Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, email address, telephone number, optionally postcode/town as well as your message) exclusively to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The message is sent via our email provider. We delete the data as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
Location map
The contact page embeds an interactive location map. It is only loaded once you actively click the button to load the map (two-click solution). Beforehand we show only a static preview image served from our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties.
When the map loads, map tiles are obtained from OpenStreetMap and CARTO. Your IP address is transmitted to these services, which is technically necessary to display the map (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a clear way for you to find us).
Only when you additionally open the route planner does an external map service open in a new tab; its privacy policy then applies.
Fonts and icons
Fonts and icons are served locally from our server. There is no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts).
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the 'https://' in the address bar of your browser.
