Maintenance packages for your stone carpet
A marble-gravel stone carpet is a hard-wearing, natural surface that stays beautiful for many years. That said, no floor is entirely maintenance-free: nearby plants and pollen, fallen leaves and daily wear from outdoor shoes all leave their mark over time. To keep your surface looking its best, we offer three maintenance packages that build on one another: professional cleaning, cleaning plus sealing, and a complete package that also covers minor repairs. All prices are per square metre.
Our recommendation
When is the right time?
Late spring
A clean in late spring gets your terrace and balcony ready for summer: pollen, dust and the traces of winter disappear before the season properly begins.
Before winter
A second clean before winter removes leaves and deposits before frost and damp set in. The surface then comes through the cold season in far better shape.
Re-seal every 5 years
After around five years we recommend resealing, after which the terrace looks like new again. If that is what you are after, Package 2 with sealing is the right choice.

Deep cleaning followed by sealing for long-lasting protection.

All prices shown are guide prices per square metre and include VAT at 19%. The final price depends on the actual area to be treated, and in some cases we will need to survey the site first.
Important care advice
Please do not clean the surface with off-the-shelf cleaners
We strongly advise against using off-the-shelf cleaning products on the surface. Many of them attack the binder that permanently holds the stones together.
In the worst case this causes irreparable damage: the surface loses its bond and, in extreme cases, the entire terrace can come away. The only remedy then is to strip the floor completely and lay a new one.
For maintenance we use our own cleaner, formulated to match our binder exactly. Your floor stays clean and the material comes to no harm.
